Out of the Store
This summer Geevor is hosting a new exhibition: Out of the Store.
Geevor Tin Mine Museum holds many thousands of objects in its stores; many of these have never been seen by the public before.
New photographs, archive material, minerals and many other objects, such as the Trewellard Methodist Banner, a wheel from a ww2 German bomber which crashed in St Just, a sword donated to a modern ‘Cousin Jack’, among others, have all been dusted off, mounted and placed on display.
Geevor hopes this eclectic mix of objects, old and new, will demonstrate the wide range of collections held and protected at Geevor Tin Mine Museum.
